Cambridge InterClub Competition 2022

A win for ADCC !
The prestigious Cambridge Interclub PDI competition was held via Zoom this year with 25 clubs participating and David Lowe ARPS DPAGB AFIAP the competition judge. There were five rounds in the competition : Monochrome, People, Landscape, Nature and Open.

After all 5 rounds we were tied with Norwich & District as well as Shillington, all three clubs on 90 points. That brought the tie-break into play and delighted to say that James Marson’s ‘Boats at Anchor’ beat the images from the other 2 clubs, so thank you James!! Lee’s ‘Highland Cow’ and ‘Buffalo and Friend’ by Richard Burn had earlier each scored 20 points. Buffalo & Friend was the runner-up for the Roy Pitman Award for the judge’s favourite image - well done Richard! In due course, once we’re back at Millbrook Village Hall, we’ll be presented with the John Lewis Trophy.

The following is the list of images entered (with scores):

  • PROUD MUM By Katrina Wilson (17)
  • DRINK ME by Lee Odell (18)
  • HEBRIDEAN DUNES by Richard Burn (15)
  • BUFFALO AND FRIEND by Richard Burn (20)
  • HIGHLAND COW by Lee Odell (20)
